Everything about The Minister Of Overseas France totally explained

The Minister of Overseas France ("Ministre de l'Outremer", formerly "Minister of Overseas France and her Colonies") is a cabinet member in the Government of France responsible for overseeing French overseas departments and territories (such as the département d'outre-mer).
The position is currently held by Michèle Alliot-Marie, who is also the Minister of the Interior (France). Since the ministry is a dual one, matters pertaining specifically to Overseas France are in part delegated to a Secretary of State for Overseas, Yves Jégo.
